The November Turkey and Photo Shoot

Sometimes shows are serious and sometimes they are just about fun. This was a fun show, somewhat like the Halloween show, where the events of course center around horses. The big difference was that the kids got to shoot arrows from horseback and compete for prizes such as turkeys and pies. We hope that some moms got a leg-up on thanksgiving. This was the last show event of the year, but we will be preparing for the first competition show in March. Stay in touch, we would like you to be there.

Wrangler Farms would like to thank Nick Howell for all of the great pictures.

This guy is riding one of Wrangler Farms adopted Corolla Wild Horses. Tracey is three years old and has been trained and is now one of our lesson horses.

These horses are wild by name, but certainly not by nature. After they are introduced to humans and begin to do the things and receive the care that domesticated horses do, they adapt rapidly and are really nice horses; loving and gentle.

Pictured here is Wendy Robinson our farm manager and her son Sammy.

You see, there is nothing to it. You just hold it like this and let'r rip. Oh and be careful of that horse behind you.

Cool, now I think I got the idea. Bring on the turkeys!

How about that! I won a ribbon. It wasn't easy, but I did it.
